CaseLearns Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who can take the CaseLearns classes?

All CaseLearns classes are open to current Case faculty, students and staff, emeriti faculty, alumni, and Senior Scholars. Library affiliates may register if openings are available.

Q: Is there a charge for classes?

CaseLearns classes are free of charge. We do have a No-Show Policy in place for those who register and fail to show or cancel in advance.

Q: How do I register for CaseLearns classes?

You can register for one or more classes using the online registration form. If you are having difficulty with the online registration system, please call Library Administration @ 216-368-2992.

Q: Where are classes taught?

Classes are taught in Kelvin Smith Library, Room 215 unless otherwise noted.

Q: Do you provide computers for hands-on practice during the classes?

Our electronic classrooms provide hands-on training. A maximum of 16 computers are available.

Q: Do these classes have pre-requisites?

Most classes do not have pre-requisites but the assumption is made that students have a working knowledge of their operating systems as well as experience using a web browser. Classes which list pre-requisites will assume that the students enrolling meet the minimum requirements.
