Your content will be submitted for review to the Digital Case Staff. Content will be reviewed against the Depositor Asset Description Form . This review is primarily of the metadata that describes the content that you have submitted. If the Digital Case Staff have any questions regarding this content we will contact you.
Content in Digital Case is contained within a Collection. If no collection for your content exists at the time of your content submission, a Digital Case staff member will follow-up with you to create and describe the collection in which your content will reside.
Once your content submission has been reviewed and found to be in order, the Digital Case Staff will place the content in the queue for submission into Digital Case. Once content has been placed in Digital Case it will receive a permanent url, also referred to as a handle, that will become the permanent web address for your asset.
The timeline on this process may vary depending on the level of submission that the Digital Case Staff is currently handling, but you will be notified by email once your object has been posted.
