Kelvin Smith Library is a research library that welcomes all visitors with research needs and valid photo identification during Regular Business Hours. Children under 16 must be accompanied at all times by an adult. Unaccompanied minors needing assistance with government information or government publications should contact a Research Services Librarian or staff at the Service Desk prior to visiting the library. Other extended hours are restricted to individuals from Case, CIM, CIA with their current official institution IDs. Evening access for everyone requires an official photo ID.
KSL Summer hours begin Thursday, May 5th with an adjustment in hours. The 24x7 services take a break too and will resume with the Fall 2016 semester.

Community user hours vary during holiday periods, university breaks and the summer. At the noted times, Kelvin Smith Library doors will lock and visitors may return on the next business day.

24x7 Services Access
Our 24x7 services are open to Case faculty, students and staff, as well as CIA and CIM students, with valid institution IDs.
Case buildings use automated card-swipe door access during evening hours. KSL's Main Door Intercom provides Visitor access with ID during Regular Business Hours. Evening access for everyone requires an official photo ID.
The notation "Siegal" in the online catalog refers to the Aaron Garber Library of the Siegal College of Judaic Studies at 26500 Shaker Blvd. Cleveland OH 44122. The Aaron Garber Library is the academic library of the College and the central library of the Cleveland Jewish community. It includes 30,000 volumes, plus periodicals, language tapes, music and text CDs in English, Hebrew and Yiddish. The Library's electronic catalog is part of the online library system managed by Case Western Reserve University, and is included in OhioLINK, the statewide electronic academic catalog system. Online borrowing privileges are reserved for students registered at Siegal College. Community members are welcome to browse the catalog, visit the Garber Library and borrow materials.
