Biography:

I joined the Kelvin Smith Library staff as Acquisitions and Metadata Services Team Leader in 2014. Previously, I have held positions in technical services and special collections at historical society libraries, and I began my professional career as an archivist at a film archive where I developed an interest in film. My educational background includes degrees in history (B.A. Saint Louis University; M.A. State University of New York at Buffalo) and library science (M.L.S. Indiana University).

My academic interests include, but are not limited to, literature, film, and history, particularly nineteenth century American history. When I am away from work, I enjoy reading, watching movies, hiking, playing games (board, card, and video), and watching baseball, hockey, and other sports.
