Mobile Phone Policynophone

The Library knows you want to stay in touch... but ringing phones and loud phone conversations add unnecessary noise and make it difficult for many people to work and study.

Be considerate of others.  Keep phone use to a minimum to be fair to everyone.

  • Phone calls are permitted outside the security gates only.
  • Turn off the ringer, or switch to silent/vibrate mode in the Library.

Taking a call?  Ask the person to hold; move outside the security gates to talk.

Thank you for  your partnership in making the Library a great research and study space for all!

Mobile Phone Use guidelines apply to all Kelvin Smith Library users.
Remind others of the Library Mobile Phone policies if their phone use is disturbing you.

The Library reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the Library if their phone use affects others.
