Annual Report
Collection. Connection. Creation. Curation. These distinguishing characteristics from our vision statement have guided our continued effort in 2012 to provide the best possible resources for our users and to be the knowledge and creativity commons for CWRU.

The past year has been full of excitement at Kelvin Smith Library (KSL). New services enabled CWRU students to become better researchers. Updates and renovations to physical spaces made KSL a comfortable and collaboration-friendly environment. We increased safety and security for all of our users. Our ever-expanding collections make cutting-edge research possible.Annual Report Seminars and events have kept our alumni and members of the community coming back to engage with the university community.

Please take a few moments to view KSL’s highlights from the past year. We enter into 2013 moving forward with additional improvements to extend our existing facilities, collections and services. We look forward to hearing your suggestions for making KSL even better.

Wishing you the best in the new year,

Arnold Hirshon
Associate Provost & University Librarian
