Study carrels offer a quiet retreat and the opportunity to store and use personal research items in tandem with library materials. A carrel is especially helpful when the library item can't be checked out, like a journal or reference book. When you're doing active research for long hours, a Study Carrel and a comfortable chair provide an excellent respite!
Current graduate students from the following schools are eligible for a KSL carrel:
Students in other programs supported by the Law Library, the MSASS Harris Library, and the Health Science Library should contact their home libraries for possible study space. All applicants are verified for eligibility before being assigned a KSL Graduate Study Carrel.
Download the carrel application below, or pick up a copy at the KSL Service Center Desk. Please read the requirements and guidelines about use. Fill out the application and return it to the KSL Service Center. Carrel assignments are arranged via emails from Library Administration. The carrel keys are checked out to your library account.
Please contact us if you have questions about the Graduate Student Study Carrel service. KSL staff members at the Service Center Desk are there to help and pass on any comments/questions to Library Administration.
