The Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship

Sponsorship Opportunities

Don't miss this exciting sponsorship opportunity for an upcoming national colloquium, the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship Colloquium: Pedagogy and Practices, which will be held at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, on November 6 and 7, 2014.   We have an exciting program planned, designed to be of broad interest to librarians, faculty, and graduate students alike.  Our focus is on instructional methodologies and strategies for using digital tools in humanities, science, and social science classrooms.  We have two confirmed plenary speakers:  Dr. Paul Fyfe, Assistant Professor of English at NC State University, and Dr. Ryan Cordell, Assistant Professor of English at Northeastern University.  Both are rising stars in the growing field of digital humanities.

In addition to a stimulating program, we look forward to a wonderful conference experience. The Kelvin Smith Library of Case Western Reserve University is situated in the University Circle neighborhood of Cleveland, which is also home to the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Western Reserve Historical Society, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and several other cultural institutions that will provide opportunities for our visitors to explore the area.

Along with Case Western Reserve University, the colloquium is co-sponsored by the libraries of Vanderbilt University, the University of Rochester, and Washington University in St. Louis.  We are pleased to offer the sponsorship opportunities described below.
