Multimedia Services
The Freedman Center's Multimedia Services offers the Case community the opportunity to learn to use multimedia equipment for creating and editing media projects. The Center features workstations dedicated to various types of multimedia projects, such as scanning and video editing. We also check out equipment such as digital cameras and tripods.
Media Workstations
The Freedman Center's multimedia workstations offer both Windows and Macintosh platforms and a full load set of sotware from Adobe, Sony Media, and Apple. With a full compliment of multimedia technology at each station you can:
- Digitize audio and video from any source: DVD, VHS, Beta, DV Tape, laserdisc, CD, cassette tape, LP, reel-to-reel;
- Perform optical character recognition (OCR);
- Input digital images and multimedia files into electronic dissertations;
- Edit sound and video.
