When the items you need are not at Case or OhioLINK, Kelvin Smith Library partners with libraries around the globe to bring you what you need for your work at Case.
Search a title on the Case Catalog, and if our copy is not available or we don't own it, click the OhioLINK Central Catalog button & the search passes through to the 88-member consortium in Ohio:
It's fast, and convenient. (If your library acccount is in good standing, you can also visit OhioLINK libraries with your Case ID card and borrow directly.)
When Case doesn't have it, OhioLINK is a fast way to order books & media from the members, and (new in 2007) bound journals from the NE Ohio (OhioLINK) Repository. The consortium catalog includes collections from the Center for Research Libraries in Chicago, and two public libraries: Cuyahoga County Public Library and its 28 branches, and the Columbus Westerville Public Library. New in 2012: SearchOhio, a public library consortium of Ohio expands your library resourcess to millions of public library items that you request the same way you request OhioLINK items. Track your requests on your Case library account.
When Case and the OhioLINK Central Catalog don't have what you need, order through KSL ILLiad interlibrary loan services & KSL staff will find it through a network of 60,000 libraries in 112 countries.
All Case libraries use ILLiad, and KSL ILLiad supports requests from faculty, staff and students from the College of Arts and Sciences, the Case School of Engineering, the Weatherhead School of Management, and Case central administration. Set up an ILLiad account with your 'home' library today!
If you are having trouble with the site take a look at out support page.
OhioLINK questions can be answered at the KSL Main Service Desk at 368-3506, and ILLiad questions can be sent to smithill@case.edu
Libraries are encouraged to check the OCLC Policy Directory for Kelvin Smith Library (CWR) policies and those of the other Case libraries. KSL is an ILLiad/Odyssey library interested in electronic delivery services.
