The goal of reference service at Case is to provide quality service to all members of the Case community in fulfillment of their educational and research needs. To achieve this goal, reference librarians provide research assistance, including answering reference questions, providing collection development support, and providing information literacy and research instruction services. These services are provided to all members of the Case community both locally and remotely, through telephone, e-mail, and LiveChat reference.
The objectives of service are:
- To provide individual assistance and instruction
- To provide and maintain reference resources, both print and electronic
- To instruct users in the use of KSL resources and research techniques
