Fedora Windows Service Installer - Runs Fedora as a Windows Service
Description: The Fedora Windows Service Installer is meant to run Fedora as a Windows Service instead of from the command line. The service does nothing more than issuing the "fedora-start" command during the Start operation, and issuing the "fedora-stop" command during the Stop operation. Once you install the service you may Start/Stop/Restart the service just as any other Windows Service.
Assupmptions
- "FEDORA_HOME" environment variable properly set.
- fedora.fcfg properly configured to use one database (i.e. Oracle, mckoi). The command line option allows one to issue "fedora-start oracle", "fedora-start mckoi", etc. However, this service can only issue "fedora-start", thus, the fedora.fcfg must be configured to only use one database.
Compatibility: All Fedora Versions
