The KSL Technology Team is a dynamic innovator and implementer of technical solutions that support the library staff and as well as support all technical public services for the library community.
Overview
In fall of 2000, the KSL Administration identified the need for a team to be created to support the technical needs of Case Librarians, KSL Staff, as well as creating and supporting KSL strategic objectives. Since 2000, the KSL Tech Teams role has evolved and is now a critical functional necessary to long term sustainability of the KSL Library. Our goal is to provide the highest quality services is a cost effective manner. The Tech Team values collaboration between various library departments as well as other Case departments such as central ITS. The KSL Tech Team specializes in IT area specific to libraries such as creation and maintenance of web services for students and staff, integration of the library catalog system (Innopac) to other campus systems as well as digital presentation and distribution of electronic library materials just to name a few. The KSL Tech Team is in constant collaboration and communication with all IT departments on campus. In an effort to maximize time and productivity, the KSL Tech Team chooses to out-source all IT functions that can be serviced by the Central IT organization of Case
