CWRU Scholarly Resources & Special Collections. This team integrates KSL special collections, the University archives, and KSL preservation services (both of print and electronic resources).
Research Services. A Research Services Librarian has been appointed to every academic department to provide four major functions: collection management (including government documents), research support, Information fluency instruction, and building and maintaining relationships with the academic department and its faculty. KSL will integrate the traditional reference desk services with the main service desk for basic information transactions, and Research Services Librarians will provide research support on a more intensive basis.
Acquisitions & Metadata Services. This team acquires and catalogs purchased and licensed library materials (including monographs, serials, and electronic resources), catalogs special collections and archival materials, and creates metadata for items added to Digital Case.
Access and Delivery Services. This team provides services for library circulation, interlibrary loan (including OhioLINK and ILLiad), copyright compliance, and local and off¿site storage of library materials.
Library Planning, Budget and Assessment. This team provides services for public engagement and communications (e.g., campus communications, and coordination of events related to the campus or greater Cleveland community), and internal functions (e.g., budget and library facilities management, and planning and assessing library services).
KSL Human Resources. This internal team coordinates human resource services within the library, including management of staff learning and development.
