The following Music Library collections and library records are listed in priority order --from top priority to lowest priority. Disaster salvage should proceed accordingly.
1. THE REFERENCE COLLECTIONS (includes monumental sets and series)
Location: West end of library (Room 102). Facing the circulation desk turn right and it is the second door on the right.
2. CIRCULATING BOOK COLLECTION
Location: Facing the circulation desk it is the room to the left (east)
3. CIRCULATING SCORES (includes miniature scores)
Location: Facing the circulation desk it is the room to the left. Scores are in the back of the room toward the right (southeast part of stacks).
4. MICROFILM COLLECTION
Location: Facing the circulation desk it is the room to the left. When entering the room make a right. The collection is in a cabinet near the windows (southeast corner).
5. BOUND PERIODICALS,PERIODICAL INDEXES, AND CURRENT PERIODICALS
6. SOUND RECORDINGS
Location: Facing the circulation desk go to the furthest door to the right (west) i.e. the listening room. Once inside this room go to the room on the left.
Priority Order:
Location: To the left along the north wall and on row of stacks down the middle of the room.
Location: To the right along the north wall.
7. LIMITED CIRCULATION MATERIAL
The notation "Siegal" in the online catalog refers to the Aaron Garber Library of the Siegal College of Judaic Studies at 26500 Shaker Blvd. Cleveland OH 44122. The Aaron Garber Library is the academic library of the College and the central library of the Cleveland Jewish community. It includes 30,000 volumes, plus periodicals, language tapes, music and text CDs in English, Hebrew and Yiddish. The Library's electronic catalog is part of the online library system managed by Case Western Reserve University, and is included in OhioLINK, the statewide electronic academic catalog system. Online borrowing privileges are reserved for students registered at Siegal College. Community members are welcome to browse the catalog, visit the Garber Library and borrow materials.
