The Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship

Foreign Language Film Viewing

Watching foreign language films is a great way to improve both your language skills and cultural understanding. Our region-free DVD players and international VCRs allow you to watch films from all over the world, regardless of their format. The Freedman Center provides both individual and group viewing stations.

To watch a film at the Freedman Center, you will need to:

  1. Present your valid student, staff, or faculty Case ID to the Freedman Center front desk staff.
  2. Tell the staff that you would like to watch either a VHS tape or DVD. They will provide you with the correct remote and headphones and assign you to a computer.
